About Us



Autism Spectrum Resource Center's mission is to provide affordable support services and make a positive impact on the lives of the individuals with, and the families of those on the autism spectrum.

ASRC is a 501 (c) 3 non profit agency dedicated to providing support, activities and services to this population. Founded in July 2011 by Doreen Lund and Bill Butler, it grew out of meet up social activities organized by Doreen, and social skills groups led by Bill. The group is hoping to grow and provide many needed services and activities to people of the Coastal Bend.

Board of Directors:

Bill Butler, LCSW:
Bill is the owner, therapist and group leader at Spectrum Counseling - with more than 25 years of mental health exerience. Before starting his own practice he served as Clinical Director of two treatment centers and worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Holland. Bill facilitates SAMA courses at several area agencies. He is a graduate of Grand Valley State University in Michigan.  He runs several social skills classes for individuals on the autism spectrum.



Anthony Zoccolillo, PhD: 
Anthony is an assistant professor of psychology at Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi.



Connie Ratcliff, MA:
Connie became involved with autism in 1990 when she volunteered for MHMR as a requirement for her Mental Health Associates degree.  Later, she became the supervisor for the CARES (Community Autism RESpite) program.  Her educational foundation is in the Montessori Method, which goes hand in hand with special education.  She received her Montessori certification in 1981 in Brownsville, Texas, and in 1997, began working for CCISD at Galvan Elementary.  She took several inservice classes, including PEC's, TEACCH and Visually Speaking. Thirteen years later, her knowledge, experience and love for autism put her in the current position of CCISD's Autism Itinerant Teacher.
Robin Blue, BCBA, MT-BC:
Robin is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). She also holds a Texas Educator Certificate in Special Education (EC-12). In addition to her extensive training and continuing education concentration in autism spectrum disorders and Applied Behavior Analysis, she has advanced training in Biomedical Music Therapy Applications from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and advanced training in standardized therapeutic applications of Neurologic Music Therapy from the Robert F. Unkefer Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy, Colorado State University. With over 12 years experience working with children on the autism spectrum as well as children through adults with developmental disabilities, Robin opened Therapy Connections of South Texas in August of 2008. 

Lisa McGrew, BA
Lisa McGrew graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Reading, from Texas A & M University Corpus Christi. In her 20 year teaching career, she has taught grade levels 6-12, and is currently teaching at a local school. She is working on her Master's degree in Educational Psychology. Lisa has a child who was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome six years ago. 

Keri Brock, BA, MS
Keri Brock has worked over 10 years with individuals with autism spectrum disorders. She has taught special education for 6 years, and is the Autism Specialist for Tuloso Midway Independent School District. Keri received her bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies with an AC emphasis in Special Education, and her Masters degree in psychology, with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis. Keri Brock is in the process of completing the exam for Board Certification in Behavior Analysis, and is currently working towards a Ph.D in Educational Psychology.
